All in-stock items are available on a first come, first served basis. There is currently no method to allow pre-orders or notify you personally when specific items are available.

Order fulfillment is automated and we cannot alter items on an existing order.
If you place an order using a credit card we can cancel your order up until the time a tracking number has been issued.
If you place your order using a different payment method (ie. Paypal) your order cannot be canceled and will automatically ship to the address you have on file with that provider. Once you receive it you can return the order for a refund per our return policy.
There are over 500 possible combinations of handle, baseplate, and top cap offered by Charcoal Goods. It would be entirely impractical to list this many complete razors as independent items available for purchase.
A complete safety razor consists of a handle, a baseplate, and a top cap; Each are sold separately unless otherwise noted in the product listing.
Charcoal Goods ships packages using the United States Postal Service and DHL Worldwide Express. Both carriers only offer shipping insurance to a limited number of destination countries. Due to the high value of razors, all international orders must include insurance. If we can't ship to your country consider using a freight forwarder service.
Charcoal Goods razors are delivered with only a coat of wax over the base metal. Copper and Brass are highly reactive metals and will change in appearance as you own them. The antique finish is non-permanent and much of it will wear off with use.
In general, all shaving products should be cleaned with Dawn dish soap or similar. An ultrasonic cleaner may be used, but will remove the antique finish. Never store any razor with the blade installed.
Barbicide, IF USED AS DIRECTED, will sterilize your shaving gear and will not damage the finish.
Blue Magic metal cream or similar polishes can be used to put a brilliant shine on your razor, but will remove the antique patina finish.
After cleaning, apply a coat of Renaissance Wax or similar to protect the finish.
The use of any other cleaning products, methods, or protocols, are neither endorsed nor recommended and may result in permanent damage to the finish of your shaving gear. No warranty is offered on the product surface finish
All Charcoal Goods products are proudly Made in the USA from solid bar stainless steel (grade 303/316), copper (grade 110/145), brass 360, or aluminum 6061.
You bet and this can create a very unique looking razor! You might read on the internet that mixing dissimilar metals will cause the two items to seize through galvanic corrosion. This only occurs if very specific conditions are met and this is not applicable to an item like a 3-piece safety razor. Never store any safety razor with the blade installed and you won't have any problems.
Very sorry, custom orders and modifications to current designs are not possible at this time.
Yes, we offer a 90 day warranty, to the original owner, against defects in manufacturing. There is no warranty on the product surface finish. By design the razors will change over the course of ownership giving you something that is truly unique.
